First Bike/Ped Master Plan for Hendersonville was created on 7/14/2000
DESIGN GUIDELINES

Designs should meet standards.  recommendations in Bike Guide of American Association of State Highway & Transpor-tation Officials (AASHTO) and with the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO).

The Arkansas Trail Design Resource Book provides easy to read guidelines.   Many of Hen- dersonville's trails are not sufficiently wide to meet generally accepted multi-use standards.
